This was the story of the Journey of Regeneration. At their journey's end, a new World Tree was planted to replace the old one and to hold the two worlds together. It was eventually left to a boy named Lloyd Irving and his friends to restore the world to its true form. Divine intervention tore them apart, however, and the World Tree withered and died. Long ago, Sylvarant and Tethe'alla were united as a single world that drew strength from the Great Kharlan Tree. Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World takes place two years after the events of Tales of Symphonia.
Its characteristic genre translates to " To Believe in the Resonating Hearts RPG" ( 響き合う心を信じるＲＰＧ, Hibiki au kokoro wo shinjiru RPG ?). The game is a spin-off and sequel of the popular GameCube and PlayStation 2 title Tales of Symphonia. Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World ( テイルズ オブ シンフォニア - ラタトスクの騎士 -, Teiruzu obu Shinfonia -Ratatosuku no Kishi- ?, "Tales of Symphonia: Knight of Ratatosk") is a Tales game for the Nintendo Wii, released on Jin Japan and in America on November 11, 2008.
